Rabiul Awal obtained B. Engineering. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from BUET, (Dhaka) Bangladesh in 1999 and Master of Engineering, Thermodynamics in Mechanical Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2001. He has a variety of professional experiences in HVAC, Co-gen/Tri-gen, Power Plants, Steam boilers, Solar hot water air-conditioning, Renewable energy and Waste to Energy systems. He has more than 15 years of EPC experience with many MNC companies.

Prior to co-founding Yamato Energy, he has worked for Cyclect over 14 years in the energy department. He is highly self-motivated and has an extreme passion for the Waste to Energy (W2E) recovery to save the environment and improve human lives.
